Phoenix Sister Cities is proud to offer various internship programs throughout the year. We currently offer 4 internships opportunities for individuals interested in non-profits agencies, event planning, international business, communications, cultural diversity, economics, art, tourism, web design, government and/or public relations. Internships are a semester long and occur in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.  Applications for the program will be made available at least 3 months prior to the internship start date. If there is currently no application posted, please check back at a later time for any updates.

Applications for the Spring 2017 internship are now available. The deadline to apply is November 7, 2016.

 Spring Internship Marketing

 

Requirements:

 

Must be a college student or recent graduate with a strong interest in non-profits agencies, event planning, international business, communications, cultural diversity, economics, art, tourism, web design, government and/or public relations. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, attention to detail, organization skills, and willingness to learn. It is preferred that interns have some experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  

Schedule:

 

Full and part- time internships are available; preference is for interns to work no less than 20 hours a week over a minimum of three days. Interns are also required to attend occasional evening meetings, and have opportunities to attend committee events on the weekends. Applicants interested in working as the Youth and Program Assistant Intern will need some weekend availability.
